The AAPPR Fellowship Program is the most comprehensive, authoritative resource for health care professionals seeking to develop and test their skills and knowledge within a broad spectrum of topics including physician and provider recruitment, onboarding and retention, human resources, and relevant legal issues.
The program provides an in-depth view of recruiting basics such as sourcing, screening, and interviewing, as well as delving deeper into advanced topics such as interpreting benchmarking metrics and understanding/implementing medical staff development plans. Recruitment professionals with the FASPR designation are equipped with resources, best practices, and cutting-edge training that is put to use every day in order to recruit and retain top candidates for their hospital and health systems, as well as to influence hiring practices in the provider workforce.
Those who pass the 101 exam receive the designation of AASPR (Associate). Those who pass both the 101 and 201 exams receive the designation of DASPR (Diplomate). Those who pass the 101, 201, AND 301 exams receive the designation of FASPR (Fellow).
FASPR status will be valid for three years from the date of completion. Renewal will be required within three months of FASPR expiration date.

AAPPR credits (from annual conferences, webinars, etc.) are automatically added to the professional development section of your profile on a monthly basis. You may log continuing education credits from AAPPR-approved organizations as you earn them.
