AAPPR queried its members in the summer of 2020 through both an online survey and personal interviews to hear directly from them on what had changed in their profession after the United States began restricting movement to flatten the curve of COVID-19. The data shows a tale of two roads diverging: those who stopped and those who kept recruiting.
